AMY L GRANT

Amy Grant is a singer-songwriter from Nova Scotia’s South Shore and has been performing covers, along with her own original music locally with bands and as a solo artist for most of her adult life. A former member of the award-winning Nova Scotia Mass Choir, Amy currently performs with her family band, “It’s All Relative”. Her songwriting style has been described as down-to-earth and organic, with pleasurable melodies, and relatable lyrics brimming with emotion that easily connect listeners to the song by evoking feelings of having their own stories being told. Clear vocals with a pure tone and warm texture influenced by roots, folk, country, bluegrass and gospel genres complete the essence of her overall musical approach. In 2016 she recorded her debut album, “This Time Around”, and has been continuing to write since the album’s release. Her first single, the title track from her album, was released to online streaming platforms in February of 2025. She hopes to record a second album in the future.
